Curious how much and how people drive their Roush’s? I know some on here drive them a lot and hard, and some have their garage/trailer queens, how do you drive yours? Lets see your stories?

Our Roush is a 2010 427R, just turned over 40,000 miles last weekend. Now I live in Minnesota where I can only drive the car about 6 months out of the year because of that damn snow! The car is 6 years old, so I roughly have 36 months of driving on it, averages to 1,111 miles per month. 6,666 per year(kinda creepy number huh) I’ve run 16 track days, 3 Wednesday Night Drags at BIR with about 21 runs down the 1/4 mile, on my 4th set of tires(not counting my set of MT ET Street drag radials), and 4th set of brake pads. I’ve had two lower fog lamps broken, replaced two full sets of 4 wheel center caps(get hot, shrink, and fall out on track), had my windshield cracked and replaced, and overheated my automatic tranny bad at Road America a couple years ago. Been to many car shows and have almost 2 dozen trophy’s. Unfortunately have yet to make an RRC event.

I have a ’14 RS3 convertible with 22,600 miles on it. I drive it to work every day from April-November, as long as it isn’t raining. I live in West Virginia so it’s parked all winter. I’ve never raced it but I show it a lot and have plenty of trophies including a second place at Carlisle Ford Nationals last weekend, a Celebrity’s Choice at Carlisle last year, and a gold at MCA Grand Nationals in Columbus last year. Both of the Carlisle events were RRC events.

I’ll have it at Indianapolis in September and will drive my first laps there with it. Of course they won’t be race laps, but I’ll get to say I drove it at Indy!

i live in Dubai UAE and i drive the car as my daily driver , i have give or take 220k km on the clock so roughly
136k miles , it an amazing car and have no regrets even though my dealer had a much higher price tag to sell it here and at the time was more expensive then a gt500 but i have no regrets and no have become a fan of Roush and can not wait to start my own collection .

I bought my 2007 427R new and I currently have 16,550 miles on it. I drive it to car shows every summer sometimes a few hundred miles away. Living in Colorado prevents me from taking it out when the snow flies and when they start putting down salt and sand.
It has been a great car and I have had zero issues with it. Wins a lot at the car shows and I rarely see any other 427R at any of the shows.

I have a 2016 RS3 that I bought Apr 27th. I was TDY for the Month of June so my poor Baby sat waiting for my arrival. As of today I have 4376 miles on it.

Very cool to see all the different stories. Since I started this thread in June I’ve only put a little over 4000 miles on, 3 track days and only 4 car shows this summer. Was a bad summer for car stuff this year, hope to make up for it next year. Car will be in the garage for winter very soon, first predicted snow here in MN is about the first weekend of November… :(

This is my last post on the Roush Garage…
