2008 P-51A # Press Car has been traded for a 2016 Ford SHERROD MUSTANG GT Convertible with V8 with 6 speed Automatic with paddle shifters. We loved our 3 ROUSH Mustangs since June 2003 but my Knees didn’t like the CLUTCH & 5 speed manual Tranny. We paid our 2016 RRC dues to will still be members/follower of ROUSH Mustangs for awhile.

Hey keep hanging, you don’t need a Roush to be a member! Glad you got a cool car!

Thanks Rick. We have many good friends since 2004 owning ROUSH Mustangs and belonging to Roush clubs & RRC #020.

02/20/16 purchased the 2016 Ford SHERROD Mustang GT Convertible –haven’t taken any photo of it yet. It is Oxford White with painted Silver Stripe & black Top — 5.0 V8/with 6 speed automatic with paddle shifters. Should be easier on the knees with no CLUTCH to work with. HA!

Glad you’re staying in a Mustang and the Gen6 Mustangs are very cool! I’m betting you’ll have a great time in it!

Hope to see you somewhere down the road at a Mustang event of some kind!

I checked out the Sherrods’s on their website, very nice. I’ve never seen one in person but they look great. Think you did very well on your choice! Does it have any engine/driveline mods such as Supercharger or is it just Body components?

When the Black Jack comes off the track in about 5 years I will be going for a Roush Automatic cruiser!

Sounds like you got a honey!

I can’t believe this! I’m about to buy the car you guys are talking about. It’s in Lakeland Florida. I was doing a search when I saw it said “Press Car” instead of having a number, and a link to this forum came up. I’m currently in Afghanistan as a contractor and will be taking R&R near the end of the month. I’m going to fly down to Florida with the family and can’t wait to drive it back to North Carolina. I love the 05-09 Roush and really love the P51. I had no idea that there were two non-serial numbered cars and can’t believe I’m about to get number 1 of 2. Maybe it’s not a big thing, but I find this is a huge score. I’ve had several Mustangs, but I’m more excited about this one than any of the others. Anyway, I just couldn’t resist making an account and posting about this.

So now the dealership is backing out of the deal. They just told us the owner wants to keep the car for his private collection, but the car is now relisted for $55,699 up from the original price of $37,956…Really disappointing and pretty mad. We’ll see what happens…
